They seem very hit and miss.
I’ve used eSims in the UK (Three Mobile) and Airalo in the US and they worked well, but a friend of mine has the same phone as me but couldn’t get Airalo to work in the US at all.
I used Airalo when I was in Vietnam no issues accept I had to activate my local SIM also an esim to get an SMS and was wondering why I wasn’t getting any internet on my phone. It only happened when I was getting a ride share to meet up with some friends and never received any of their messages until way later. But we managed to find one another eventually luckilly. Never made that mistake again.

Nearly $4,000 for an iPhone?
![]()
And $400 is a bit steep for a storage bump from 256 to 512 GB.
99.99% of people don’t need 2tb in a phone and those that do are probably using it for business - probably shooting RAW photos so storage is needed.
i have a 512Gb iphone pro that has over 200GB free, and most of the space thats taken is by music downloaded (you only do one Bris - Per flight where the wifi fails to keep entertainment on hand)
Agree re storage, my 256GB Samsung S24 has nearly 100GB worth of stuff on it including the OS, apps etc.
128GB is just too skinny as base storage these days however (since SD card slots have been removed).
that orange is very attractive
still unsure about the Air - i mean, why would someone want a thin phone?
