Nene Leakes?
but who is missing from the Sydney Comedy Festival which I just saw is on from Monday 24 April thru to Sunday 21 May… although I reckon it only takes a couple of days to do the NZ shoot and then they come back to Aus for the studio links after Comedy Festival is finished

Nice to see Mel filming something back home.
Given The Cheap Seats returns on May 9, she will have to film all her games on Taskmaster within the next two weeks, before flying back to Melbourne.
The tweet also explains why Nick Cody has been absent from his Fox FM breakfast show recently.
Very do-able! A lot of UK contestants have spoken about how being on Taskmaster is super easy to fit into your schedule, so keeping fingers crossed Melanie is on there! I think she’d be great
Nick is on the Project tonight tho
If they’re filming already to presumably air later in the year surprised they didn’t reveal the line up at the end of the finale as the UK version does each series.
Becky Lucas seems to be in NZ too
Rule out Melanie Bracewell. She’s on Taskmaster NZ.

Looks like another strong lineup too
Filming of studio segments will move from Sydney to Melbourne for season 2. Audience tickets are now available from That’s the Ticket website for the recording at Docklands Studios from July 10 to 14, with two sessions each day.
EDIT: dates amended
Must be another season due to air this year? Surely they wouldn’t hold off episodes filmed this year until next.
At the end of the chat with Tom Cashman on The Cheap Seats tonight, Tim McDonald revealed season two of Taskmaster would be shown later this year.
Makes sense with how quick they were to start filming the season after the conclusion of the first.
According to today’s Herald Sun, the comedians taking part in season two are: Peter Helliar, Mel Buttle, Aaron Chen, Concetta Caristo and Rhys Nicholson.
Awesome line-up.
It’s interesting that the cast was named on the same week the studio segments are filmed at Docklands Studios.
Now I can see why Ten are promoting them so hard. How did Peter have time to do it with his shows domestically and internationally?
I am pretty sure this is very low time commitment, a couple of days filming in NZ and 5 half studio days…a very economical program to make
