They actually ran a promo for Survivor 50 on Stan during MAFS tonight. Have not seen Survivor advertised here like that in a while.
That was an awesome first episode. I really enjoyed it. It was interesting seeing some of these older school contestants back playing and being so much older. Colby in his 50s now gives such a different vibe. Funny to see that Coach is still feuding with Ozzy 15 years on. Just seeing these newer players interact with the old was great.
I am surprised by some of the fan voting, particularly on the dynamic advantages. So people can’t really complain that there’s a lot of random twists/advantages cos its what was voted for. I liked the return of Exile Island but not sure if it was a one off. That journey they did towards the end should’ve meant a night on Exile for the loser.

It was an awesome first episode. It far exceeded my expectations.

The second episode was another good one. It was a bit of a shame who left last night but what happened after that was hilarious. Christian and Deven’s are two standouts this season and I didn’t think much of either of them going into the season.

I am so not surprised! It was about the most painful thing I’ve ever seen on Survivor!! Excruciating.
Luckily it picked up after that with a good tribal.

That was an amazing episode last night. The Mr. Beast twist could have turned out very gimmicky, but it actually worked well. We haven’t seen that sort of chaos before a Tribal in a while.
The other new twist that worked well this season was the pair vote out episode. That was another that had potential to backfire, but it played out well.
Some things things this season we could have very much done without though. Don’t get me started on Jimmy Fallon’s stupid idea last week. Forcing Christian to vote for himself was just ridiculous. The country singer coming for the reward and naming the Idol’s after Billie Eillish we could have done without too.
