The commercial breakfast shows slipped slightly on Thursday. Sunrise again was ahead of Today by 50,000. Today slipped below 200,000 - its lowest rating for 3 months. It was 2,000 ahead of News Breakfast.
Sunrise won Sydney, Adelaide, Perth; News Breakfast Melbourne and Today Brisbane.

The quality of the shot looked pretty ordinary when compared to shots of the rest of the team at Brekky Central.

Alex Lewis is reporting from the Gold Coast this morning, is this his first time on Sunrise/Weekend Sunrise?
He seems a bit stiff IMO.
Follow the leader… Monique was also quite good earlier this morning at ad-libing the live coverage.

He used to be a producer for Weekend Sunrise, before he moved to the GC.

The three breakfast shows all rated lower last week with Sunrise recording its lowest weekly average so far this year.
However, Sunrise was still 45,000 ahead of Today. Today cemented its second place position by beating News Breakfast by 20,000 as News B recorded its lowest audience since March.
Compared to Week 40 in 2019, Sunrise was down 10k and Today was up 20k.

I thought they cut him loose. What’s the relevance of him being on Sunrise anyway considering he’s nobody but a former premier who bumbles on about this and that.

Good use of the small desk down in the performance area. Looked good, but I’m sure Matt and Mon, and Keith Suter and the other guest weren’t 1.5m apart.

According to Beretts’ latest post on Instagram, the Tour De Cure ride starts in 8 days time, which would be Monday 12th October.
If Beretts’ takes part, will he be able to do sport live on location each morning from wherever the tour is up to?
If he does take part in the ride and can’t do a sport OB from wherever they are each morning, then they’ll probably have to bring in Matt Carmichael or Mel McLaughlin to present sport since Matt Shirvington is in Queensland for Holey Moley.

Berett’s has been part of Tour De Cure ride for many years,in previous years he has done the sport on location.
But we will have to wait and see if this happens this year.
James Tobin has also done the ride in previous years not sure if he is involved this year.
