Unofficial tally is 21 weeks for Today to 18 for Sunrise plus one tie.
Sunrise won in Adelaide again for 2016:
And Weekend Sunrise has won in Melbourne:
Nat hosting with Kochie and Eddy presenting News today.
PJ Madamâs stint reading news on weekends has ended, let the speculation begin on who will be reading news from this weekend.
Well with Talitha and Sally out of contention for a while, and Angie Asimus seems very unlikely. The only possibilities could be:
Sarah Cumming - If she leaves TDE or does both
Eddy - She could do Weekend in addition to Weekdays.
Monique - Maybe do news in addition to co-hosting, like how Pete Stefanovic on Weekend Today does sports as well as co-hosting.
Could Hermione Kitson make a return to TV in Australia?
I was thinking Angela Cox as well but she is still in the US this week maybe someone will fill in this week and Angela could take over the following week.
Hermione recently returned back to Italy.
I really like her.
She should become Co-Host, and then Monique can go back to presenting the news.
If Monique was to ever leave l would prefer to see Eddy replace her.
Sheâs in Sydney.
Could this meanâŚ
Angela arrived back in Sydney this morning so itâs possible she could be reading news this weekend.
The I wake up with Today blooper happened twice and once earlier this year. Kochie told the woman to âget stuffedâ with the Cash Cow in disgrace
Sunrise have unusually put up their Christmas decas, something usually done on the first Monday of December (probably when Today will do theirs).
You have too much time on your hands to notice something like that. Traditionally, 1st December is when decorations should go up and advent calendars begin with a 25 day countdown to Christmas.
Actually not unusual. December 1 is traditionally the day to put up the tree etc
Unusual for Sunrise and breakfast/morning shows. I notice I havenât seen any on TMS yet.
During yesterdayâs show:

That Cash Cow was pissed! Seems like Australia is slowly âWaking Up with Todayâ.
Or that the audience enters multiple competitions and isnât really watching either. If they actually were watching Today theyâd know they were being called.
