Yes I cannot wait for the 6am banter between him and the lads at CommSec!
Regardless of if and when Kochie goes.
It seems Pell is grooming up more ‘newsy’ replacements with Amor and Reaso filling in.
I would be happy with either - they are both great.
Although, would Amor move back to Australia?
Kochie won’t go anytime soon. He’s too well liked…
Everyone I talk to can’t stand him.
But it’s not about you really or the people you associate with.
It’s about me and who I associate with
Kochie is very smart with the financial matters. He’s useful in that regard. He’s okay though as co host of Sunrise.
Just look at comments on their facebook page “Where is Kochie?!” every time he is away. I doubt Seven will move him on anytime soon.
Smh viewers don’t appreciate the cash cow enough. I don’t see viewers asking where the Cash Cow is when she’s not on.
The cash cow carries Sunrise. They should just replace Sam with the cash cow already, give us what the people want!!
Sunrise won week 47 by 31,000 nationally and all markets except Sydney.
Do you know which days Sunrise won against Today?
Every day
Note: The Cash Cow died on the way back to her home planet.
No she just got lost in the Milky Way. ![]()
Sally Bowrey’s second child a daughter named Willow Rose was born last Thursday, she is expected to return from maternity leave in May next year.
Sunrise should go back to Chris Reason.
He was hosting with Mel Doyle in the early years before Kochie took over and was one of the inaugural co-hosts of Weekend Sunrise with Lisa Wilkinson. Ratings are up the roof with Reaso as co-host
Agreed. Maybe Sunrise will regain their beloved ‘Australia’s No.1 Breakfast Show’ next year. Mike Amor is also a good presenter. TBH Pretty much any male presenter other than AOK and Kochie will do Sunrise proud next year (although adjusting to ‘Chris and Sam’, or ‘Mike and Sam’ would be quite awkward in the beginning).
As I’ve said before, personally I think Natalie Barr & Mark Beretta should be the co-presenters of Sunrise. They’ve both been part of the show for well over a decade and are popular with viewers, so they’ve well and truly earned the position by now (if either presenter wanted it, of course).
IMO, Chris Reason & Mike Amor would be better suited to Weekend Sunrise or a “Week In Review” type program on Sunday mornings rather than the weekday editions of Sunrise in their current and heavily fluffy/puffy incarnations.
If I’m not mistaken, Sunrise are currently promoting themselves as “Australia’s #1” on the endtags.
Personally I find this whole “Sydney’s #1” vs “Australia’s #1” promo war (for both breakfast TV and the 6pm news) between Nine and Seven rather petty, but anyway…
But they are not the official No.1, Today has won its weeks to become No.1. Seven is just being sly and petty.
Seven has won both weeks and total viewers when you include regional figures (which Seven claims you have to when referring to Australia as a while).
