Kochie’s Angels is back after a week in the form of the Sunrise Newsfeed except now the three panelists are both women and men. If Eddy is going do entertainment then she has to do all of it. When they have bands/singers on she should be the one who interviews them after they perform and when they have entertainment guests in the studio she should be the one who interviews them not Sam and Kochie. Also I don’t know why Eddy can’t talk to Nelson everyday like Sam and Kochie used to. Nelson needs to be on the show more than once a week.

Tried to watch the show this morning but there was too much going on on-screen, too many things flipping, changing, dropping on & off screen.
Rebecca Maddern presented a story in front of the video wall, about Telstra’s major outage yesterday.
Shouldn’t that have been Eddys job?
Begs the question as to why David Brown & Bec are both still in Sydney?
Yeah I am finding it hard also to watch as it is all very busy on screen. The weather at least should just fade with no dropping animation.
All the flipping, flashing and wooshing is just catching up to the tabloid look of Today and 9News. 
Eddy really needs to turn her level of arrogance down.
Another loss to Today yesterday. If the losses continue it will be interesting to see if they get nervous and just revert back to the old presenting style and format or whether this is how it is now and there is no going back.
C’mon Sunrise. Kirstin Davis, who starred on Sex in the City is currently in Australia for her work with the United Nations High Commissioner. And then… they bombard her with questions about SITC and do a supposed ‘skit’ with her. Read article here

I noticed this morning that the weather ticker no longer shifts down at the same time as the news ticker. Looks much better in my opinion

[/quote] Their graphics’ machine is broken. The supers , minus the clock, and bugs didn’t work for Sunrise and the Early News. Transition graphics including specialised titles are working, all full screen graphics including weather are all working, and the generic OTS for the news appeared at 6.30.
AFAIK, the graphics returned back to normal from 7.15.
And how much better does it look without all that shoit on the screen.

Liking the new set and lighting rig, the graphics package I could take or leave but the content, well isn’t it a steaming pile of…
It’s all over the shop, the news can drag on for 15+ minutes which isn’t good when you pause your morning to catch the 3-4minute update.
I love Edwina B, but her role is really useless. They should have put her on Weekend Sunrise permanently or perhaps as a third host on The Morning Show. Sunrise feels a bit like a mess at the moment.
I have been impressed by Michael Pell up until now, but surely Craig McPherson can’t let today’s winning margin continue to increase.

Ouch. Terrible look for Sunrise, and extremely poor form for Armytage. I know that it’s breakfast TV and thus supposed to be light and fluffy, but come on. The woman was there to talk about refugees, not some dross entertainment shit. Even worse was the fact that Sunrise agreed to ask questions regarding Davis’ UNHCR work, and then ignored that.
They deserve to be losing the ratings battle if this is how the behave, honestly.
There have been a lot of questionable decisions and directions with the show this year. Would not be surprised if there was a big pow wow soon to discuss these and backtrack on some of the changes.
