Tristan said today that Sarah is on break and will be back Dec 23rd but I assume those will be the pre recorded holiday shows? So is she officially done and is there no big farewell?

Maybe the show is running until 23 December and that will be Sarah’s final show.

With December 23rd being a friday, I think Sarah will be back for one day as her final show. Otherwise its weird coming back on a Friday.

Jess Eva co-hosted the show with Tristan for the last three days including today, looks like she will be doing the role for the whole week.

Ratings up yesterday - possibly viewers switching over from Today Extra Summer and swimming on Nine that were low. TMS unaffected.

They had a promo today saying Dec 23rd is when Sarah is back on the studio audience Friday and it will be her final show. I wonder how many people will be available 2 days before Xmas? I reckon pre-recorded bits,

They showed a short promo for the 2023 year today also showed 10am graphics. It had Tristan, Angela, Nerelda and Doody. No Jess.

Pretty clear now that they don’t plan on replacing Sarah’s role. Cruise control now. This and The Project will be done with next year.

I mean, I hope that isn’t the case. But I’m surprised there doesn’t appear to be much of a drive to try turn around the current morale around Studio 10, though I know they can’t just do a full 180 to how the show was in previous years.

Much like I said in The Project discussion only just yesterday, the new direction looks much of the same without change.

Not an awful promo, but doesn’t change the fact that the show is for the most part a total snooze fest and without bigger changes than just the start time that likely won’t change next year.

Just a reminder of the shows schedule for the next few weeks.

This week: 8am-12pm. This Friday’s show being the last day with this 4 hour marathon.
Next week and the week after: 8am-11am. Summer series?
Monday 9 January: 10am-12pm. Less is more
