I do find it odd how the Aussie commercial networks basically like to schedule the same type of content against each other rather than looking to maximise audiences with a more complimentary approach.

Sarah is back this morning with Tristan. I wonder if she is cutting back on her days on the show ahead of her exit before Christmas?
Or they are. Theyâre easing the viewers away from her?
Iâd say itâs more likely because she has other commitments. She may even be getting ready for her hosting gig at The Project so spending some time there with producers and crew.

Wouldnât put it past them having Tristan as the solo host with contributions from Angela and Narelda when required.
Just seen this on TV Blackbox:
TV Blackbox can reveal Sarah Harris is not being replaced.
If this is correct then I guess they are downsizing hosts again since itâs a shorter show. Ange and Tristan and then when Ange is away they will have a revolving door of fill-ins like they are doing now.
With no permanent replacement( for Sarah) I think 10 are just keeping this show going until the can deliver a new morning line up in the second half of 2023 or 24.
Reading that article, itâs such a shame. Close to becoming the #1 morning show. What a change.

Great decision to slash the âmarathonâ. But, with the later start, they will be relying on a switch on factor. A new host could have been that (even initially). Having the left-overs front the same old show doesnât appeal to me much. Actually I think I am even less likely to tune in.
IMO the show was much better with @blackbox. If I was 10 I would be throwing the kitchen sink to get him back.

They could throw money at him but it canât be for Studio 10. The brand is tarnished and canât be repaired, as much as I hate to say it.
Hopefully they are willing to go back to the drawing board later next year for mornings but the show needs to be unique⌠Basically like what Studio 10 used to be

I feel like they kept this show going just to keep Sarah. Sarah is too loyal and if they had cut the show down earlier she definitely would have jumped ship. They found the perfect thing to move her to and now the show will suffer. Itâs a shame because Tristan is a very nice bloke in real life and he also deserves to do something he loves.
