Hard to gauge whether the extended timeslot was a success from a pure ratings numbers perspective.
- All morning shows are up - TMS and Extra almost 100k each. Today Extra posted a high yesterday.
- Studio 10 has been up over all but to a lesser extent.
- The early segment was WAY up on usual number for 10’s programming
- The min part of the program may have benefitted as it lifted from Monday and Tuesday
- The later part of the program was even higher.

And that is my argument.
Studio 10 is a better choice than the talk, ET and Bold - even if its not the perfect choice (its certainly not)
Running US celebrity shows and soaps at 730am seems tone deaf.
It’s impacting 10’s ratings, it’s not exposing the S10 brand to more people and Aussies have shown they WAY prefer some sort of show that can cover the news live.

This reinforces Studio 10’s positioning in the late morning slot, unfortunately. Rising tide raises all ships, but the trend line remains the same.

I would expect daytime rating to have increased across the board with the number of people at home

Is Studio 10 currently running live weekend programs? Wouldn’t it be a good time to run some sort of news edition with different hosts at the moment?
They could shuffle the panel around and have hosts rotate throughout the week. Just an idea if 10 is looking for people to actually flick over to them for news.

I just found it weird Perth would need to get their news from the Sydney studios considering we’re 2/3 hours ahead of them,

She’s just presenting the news from Sydney. It’s not pre-recorded. It’s done 2 hours after the Sydney news, so it’s live into Perth.
This is not new. They’ve done this in the past with other newsreaders on weekends.
