Been like it for years mate.
Not to mention that the daily Perth news was produced live from Sydney for nearly a decade in the aughts.
Tuesday 7 April-
Extended edition of Studio 10 for coverage of George Pellâs release from prison.
EDIT-
Ended at 1:02pm
If only they could lure Jess back even for a day or two a week. I know she divides viewers but thatâs exactly what makes her great talent and a break from the same same. People need a laugh more so now than ever and S10 is at risk of just becoming a boring vanilla news program IMO.
Studio 10âs extended coverage yesterday saw that part of the show hit six figures!
I think Cynic may be talking about 12-1pm, no?
Over 100k at 11.30 - 1pm (I estimate)
The usual coding for the main block is (at least was) 9.30-11am, so I assume that the âlateâ was 11am-1pm.
Very strong figures.
Was it in front of Nine and Seven?
No - they both had Extended Morning News at the time that rated higher - at least for part of the coverage,
I know that the show does get split into 3 segments for the ratings. What are the usual times for them? Is it something like: 8.00 (8.30)-9.30; 9.30-11am; 11-12pm?
Thursday 9 April-
Narelda Jacobs is presenting news updates this morning.
Canât believe he went almost 14 minutes without playing the only Joe Hildebrand clip that matters.
Friday (10.04.2020): Lachlan Kennedy is presenting news updates today.
It doesnât appear to be a live edition either this morning for Good Friday. The 10am news update was presented more like a daytime update than a segment within Studio 10. Also, Lachlan was standing in front of the control room (as usual) and you could see 10 News First branding on the monitors and no presenters at the desk.
Lachlan Kennedy presented the news update at 8:00am then the opener for Studio 10 started.
From memory, doesnât Studio 10 usually film public holidays episodes in advance?
I saw a replayed interview. So itâs definitely highlights repackaged with generic news updates.
