As a basketball fan, my hope was that I’d be able to watch in full coverage with Australian commentary without cutting away because they’ve got a rowing heat to get to or something. (Actually I don’t think that’s been an option outside of Foxtel in 2012, when 9 and Foxtel shared most commentators).
It’d be funny if Stan manages to do that for the Boomers games against Spain and Greece with Spanish and Greek commentary but not Australian.

Yeah there was a lengthy delay after Moroccan fans stormed the pitch and attacked Argentinian players. I assume Stan had an automatic time set for the feed.
The Stan Sport 90 min preview program is excellent. Obviously based here in australia. Not sure where the studio is.

Anyone else just getting a lot of static on the swimming channel?
It was showing the opening ceremony before but now looks be shots of Paris.

Doesnt happen often for swimming - the 4K quality from Stan Sports on both LG OLED TV app and apple TV is great.

Oh, yes that’s a thing.
It’s not every sport but there are a lot of 4k options. Cycling, Archery, Rugby, Canoe Slalom and Tennis right now in 4k. Looks amazing

The Nadal game right now has commentary. All the others have no commentary.
Could be. Not sure if Stan is choosing what is streamed in 4k or if that’s all that’s available out of Paris.

I only watched the last 10 mins.
I can’t be bothered with the Olympics. I still subscribe to Stan Sport for the Rugby and Football (UEFA Champions league and Europa league).
I’d like to see Stan Sport pick up the Serie A or Bundesliga rights, as these are currently with BeIn Sports.
