If only they put as much thought into their music playlists as they do with their branding brainwaves their stations might be more listenable…

Wonder if this was another one of Grant’s great ideas

Isn’t it iHeartMedia now?

No iHeartMedia came out of the USA when Clear Channel Network (or cheap channel as it was known by anyone who had contact with it), changed it’s name.

Clear Channel owned part of ARN or the Australian Radio Network as it was then, so ARN bought iHeartMedia/iHeratRadio to Australia.

How does this compare to HT&E?

It’s a bit hard to compare with HT&E given its financial year is different to that of SCA.

HT&E announced its half-year results last week.

Indeed. I am interested in the bounce back out of the pandemic restrictions, as to if ARN and SCA are returning at similar pace to pre pandemic revenue and profit.

This profit news certainly ain’t helping their share price… as someone who dabbles in share trading, it certainly is shaky ground knowing if they are going to keep sliding or actually see their price recover.

Shareholder questions for AGM due by close of business today.

Call me slow, but I just realised Jack Post is still working with Hamish & Andy.

How is he still able to work with SCA and ARN (with Christian O’Connell) at the same time?

Look…

No.

I won’t. Because I didn’t realise it either!
