Sky News

Jesus…left or right that is just vile.

That’s some heavy stuff. Surely that’s serious enough for the police to get involved.

Are these people brain dead? Did they not see the barrage of complaints about Channel 7 with this guy?

Disappointed that he apparently appeared on ABC though without anyone noticing? Maybe just that nobody watched ABC2

Add Helen Dalley to this list. How much longer can it grow, honestly!

Seems like most of the proper journalists and people with credibility are leaving, I’d probably try and do the same TBH.

Plus John Mangos, Chris Roe, Celina Edmonds, Gemma Veness, Vanessa Grimm… not the most recent some left quite a while ago but the presenters have definitely been somewhat shafted due to Skys growing nonsensical political focus.

Nina Stevens, David Lipson, Dan Bourchier, Cameron Price and James Bracey - all gone too in recent years. Weird!

Advertisers continue to flee the toxic Sky News. Bolt , Murray et.al will now rail against people trying to shut down political discussion blah blah blah. Bolt likes to play the victim.

Adam Giles looked very happy to be photographed with him in front of the Sky News logo.

More advertisers have stopped advertising.

Because there is literally no other channel they could use instead??

None of these decisions make that much of an impact. The only thing that’ll potentially get Sky to reflect on the decisions they’ve made would be if Qantas was to drop them, as that’s the vast majority of their viewership gone if that ever happens.

Isn’t there no audio at the train stations, like everywhere else that shows the channel…hotel lobbies etc.

What an absurd over-reaction over one interview. Is she going to send the police down to station news stands to burn material containing extreme views, too?

There is audio on Sydney Trains stations. It cuts out when an announcement happens or train approaches.

Melbourne does same

It’s not an overreaction IMO. I think the advertisers made the right decisions to stop sponsoring Sky and I daresay it’s not just because of this interview, but based on Sky news as a whole. If these advertisers continue to sponsor people to spread hatred, then they themselves would be perceived negatively as an organisation.

They’re taking the appropriate action IMO, although this should’ve happened ages ago.
