They used the same graphics since 2015. BBC refreshed their package in July 2019.
Looks like a fake news channel on a movie.

Hahaha this is the perfect description. I find it hard to believe that the general public likes this restrained minimalism, bad combination of a stale brand identity and wanky graphic design.
Why on earth does the TOTH opener scroll through podcasts??

Theyâve never been able to land minimalism since the 2005 package - the most simplest and effective design Iâd ever seen for a news channel that screamed British. This current one is horrible. Just let go of that font already!

Sky News UK is unwatchable, itâs as dull as BBC News channel minus the content. Often presented in front of a dull screen, nothing engaging.
Agree. I find Sky News AU much more engaging.
Hate to say it but living in UK I even watch some GB News.
Although sets and graphics are extremely cringe, the primetime lineup is much more engaging.
I split it with CNN and NBC News Now.
But I find it hard to watch bbc and sky news U.K. - itâs very lifeless And un engaging.
GB News reminds me of a bunch of weirdos broadcasting from their basement.
And AU is hardly any better. CNN is my go to (USA feed or msnbc). TalkTV will be a much slicker version of GB without the complete nut cases.
The production qualities are embarrassing.
But for those of us not on the left they offer a welcome voice.
While BBC and Sky always take a very woke left stance on every issue, GB obviously does not.
If you donât lean left politically BBC tends to be a hard watch.
If you lean left, then GB is a bunch of weirdos as you say.
Sky AU is better than Sky U.K.
CNN covers world news but if you want to be aware of the hot issues in UK you cant go to CNN for that

The problem with GB is theyâre not even credible people, theyâre mostly fringe weirdos and bad comics. TalkTV will be a proper alternative.
Iâm really hoping so.
When I go across the Chunnel to France there are 5 high quality news channels with lively news, debate, presentation and engaging content.
Here in the UK: zero.
TalkTV has Piers and Sharon Osbournes new primetime talk show.
I think daytime it will offer a visual version of TalkRadio - which has great content
