Sky News Regional

knowing how cashstrapt sca was last year iam not supprised at this

they just diverting the money they were paying WIN for the privilege up to now?

I wonder if any of the SCA 7 markets will get it too?

6 News report is being confirmed by The Australian. They add that WIN has entered into a deal with Sky News to carry the service on channel 53 in northern NSW, channel 83 in Griffith and in South Australia.

Not surprised, it’s one of Skys best performing market

It really should move to 53 in Griffith/SA, or perhaps remain on 54. Weird if it stays on 83 post-Nine affiliation.

80 9HD
81 Nine
82 9Gem
83 Sky News Regional
84 9Life
88 9Go! ??

It’s more popular than ABC News Channel

Damn, I was looking forward to not having Sky News via WIN the next time I’m up in Northern NSW!

Oh well, at least we don’t have this channel polluting FTA television in metropolitan Australia…yet.

Thankfully, regional WA will also be cleansed.

No mention of Tasmania there. Lol. Wonder if it will appear and whether it will be on TDT or Seven. SBN has been on the Seven Tas lists despite being on Channel 5-whatever it is in other markets.

Good job @Leo_Puglisi6, you seem to be getting a few of these things broken and broken here! Certainly stimulates discussion! Well done.

The story in The Australian and on the News Corp metro websites feature a photo of Andrew Bolt, which would indicate that his program will be making a return to Sky News in regional areas.

So they can’t find someone to carry their crap in metro areas?

this would also indicate that 10 is going to be on 5 and win is going back to 8

WIN was always on 8, it’s not “going back”. What’s changing back is the Nine and Ten programming between WIN and SCA.

Not necessarily. He is one of the most well known Sky faces, and as such would be the poster boy, whether or not he is on the channel.

You could be right, but I interpreted it the other way. The Australian:
