Not a good looking table for the first full week of Autumn with small to medium sized drops across the majority of bulletins.

Seven News was down 22k in the 5-city market across the hour winning Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Nine was again a winner in Syndey and Brisbane and down 15k from the previous week.

That started at 6pm where Seven News in particular was well down on usual. In Sydney – lowest audience of the year; Melbourne – lowest audience of the year at 174k and only the second time below 200k this year; Brisbane – third lowest for year and Perth – first time below 100k this year. While Nine News was down it didn’t suffer the same drops.

Overll, compared to week 10 of 2022, Seven was down 22% including by 34% in Syndey and 26% in Brisbane and Perth. Melbourne was down 13% while Adleiade was unchanged.

Nine was down 26% including +26% in all east coast markets, 19% in Adelaide and 16% in Perth.
