Another win for Nine on Friday and if repeated on Saturday will see the network win every day of the last two weeks. Results were similar to the previous Friday with Nine and Seven down slightly while 10’s multichannels did better. 1.3% for 7Bravo is its second-highest result.

Most programs saw lower ratings this week. That started at 6pm where Seven News in particular was well down on usual. In Sydney – lowest audience of the year; Melbourne – lowest audience of the year at 174k and only the second time below 200k this year; Brisbane – third lowest for year and Perth – first time below 100k this year. While Nine News was down it didn’t suffer the same drops. Then at 7pm ABC News was down 75k week-on-week.

Top entertainment show again went to ABC’s Endeavor with Gardening Australia next best. Better Homes on Seven was down slightly continuing some poor results for this year.

The NRL was the number one show in Brisbane thanks to a Qld derby but its 5-city number was down 70k from round one.

Seven got a good result with the often-repeated The Proposal while none of 10’s prime time line-up including the Graham Norton compilation show made the top 20.

Both commercial breakfast shows were back in the top 20 with just a 10k margin to Sundrise.

Lots of sport happening on Foxtel, filling all top 20 spots. The headline NRL game was again over 300k nationally with good numbers for day two of the test cricket as well.
