Coverage is being slammed for the lack of atmosphere
Itâs a pre-season friendly - they generally arenât that exciting.
Not having a go at you but rather the notion behind the criticism
The only reason the soccer was shown on 7TWO was that it would clash with the pre-match of Wimbledon womenâs singles final which started at 10.45pm AEST. Organisers of the friendly had already set the kickoff at 7pm Perth time (9pm AEST) before Seven bought the rights, so the time could not be changed.
There was also a comment on TV Tonight website on Manchester United wearing a change strip, which forced the reader to switch back to NRL on Fox Sports. Has she heard of a colour clash? This was a Perth Glory home game after all so they were entitled to wear their purple home strip.
Theyâve only just released that new strip too - made perfect sense to wear it last night to promote it.
That commentâs author is an idiot.
Which was actually released that day to coincide with the game (as a Man U fan, im not a fan of it) - its a shame not to see them in Red, but thats a fairly petty complaint
Sponsor billboards in-program tonight, rather than during ad breaks (Manchester U vs Leeds)
No audio problems tonight.
7plus will stream live heats and finals of 2019 World Para-Swimming Championships from London next month. A daily 30-minute highlights package will also screen on 7TWO. Seven will also broadcast the World Para-athletics Championships from Dubai in November.

It looks like 7 have dropped the NFL, as the opening game of the NFL season is not even there on 7, Two and Mate. ESPN will show it live.
ESPN has the rights to the Sunday late and afternoon game as well as Hard Knocks in which they picked from 7
TV Blackbox understands negotiations are continuing between Seven and the NFL with a new deal still possible this week.
Given Sevenâs financial woes, if the NFL were forward looking and looking to really grow the game here, they should give it a network for a low price.
ESPN is slated to show 5 games a week
That article is slightly wrong. It was a five year deal not four. I am surprised 10 hasnât decided to pick it up, when their parent company CBS has the rights to the NFL.
Seven has announced the presenting team for this yearâs spring racing carnival after 10 signed up Francesca Cumani for the Melbourne Cup carnival telecast. According to the Herald Sun, Sevenâs team is: Bruce McAvaney, Hamish McLachlan, Richard Freeman, jockeys Corey Brown, Chris Symons and Katelyn Mallyon, and presenters Jason Richardson, Emily Bosson, Abbey Gelmi, Emma Vosti, and fashion expert Kate Waterhouse.
Corey Brown will make his debut as expert commentator this Saturday for Sevenâs coverage of Memsie Stakes Day from Caulfield Racecourse.
What are all the events Seven get again? Is it every major meeting excluding the Melbourne Cup carnival, plus Sydney too I think?
Yep - they have rights to Melbourne & Sydneyâs Autumn and Spring Carnivals (except the Melbourne Cup Carnival) + the Gold Coast Magic Millions event in January
The Sydney rights are noteworthy because (as previously discussed) the âGolden Eagleâ raceday allows the network to go up against 10âs Derby Day coverage
Look like the NFL is staying on Seven. The 100th season of the competition starts this Thursday (September 6) - Friday morning in Australia.
Its already in the 7mate schedule. It looks as though 7 have lost the biggest matches of the year.
