It appears they get a reprieve for now from the new changes. Give it another week and they’ll have those changes up in their bulletins and news updates. That’s my bet.

7News regional Queensland with the exception of 7News Central Queensland are now using updated thumbnails on 7Plus

Well it wouldn’t be the first time. It wasn’t that long ago that both 7News Toowoomba and 7News central Queensland used the same thumbnail on 7plus
Not really a new look, this was seen since last month (at least from my observations).
The new look would have to be one containing those Liquid A$$ sweepers!

Brisbane hasn’t started using that OTS yet. I thought maybe when Sarah returns?
That logo has been seen in Regional QLD during promos for a long time, from my observations it goes back to April 2024.
The OTS during the 6pm news is new but a lot of the other stuff seems a bit outdated or was implemented recently before the metro bulletins unveiled their new looks.

For decades, Rob Brough has been a trusted fixture on Queensland television – but after quietly stepping back from the 7News desk late last year, viewers have been left concerned about his future.
Scoop can confirm the long-serving presenter is still with the network and remains on extended personal leave, despite months of speculation.
In his absence, rumours have circulated online, including claims on Reddit that he had fallen out with staff or left the station altogether.
Seven has confirmed this is not the case, and that Brough is simply on personal leave.
