Guessing it wasn’t recorded live to air then.
Since, Seven News at 5 and 6 share the same set, no I would say it was pre-recorded. Ange also presented from a different angle which made the globe not so small:
Liam Cox presented sport on 5pm News and in Sydney this weekend.
Michael Felgate presented sport in Melbourne again this weekend.
Angela Cox is presenting Monday Morning News and most likely on Tuesday like she did last week.
It’s at least her 15th or 17th day in a row I think? Could be more.
On The Morning Show’s last live show last year, Ange said she is working all the way through the summer.
@NewsKing Yep Ange has worked 17 or 18 consecutive days.It is helping her gain more experience and improving her presenting skills, which are already at a high standard.
I remember when Rebecca Maddern worked 3 weeks straight over christmas… 4.30 News, Melbourne News and Weekend Sunrise, flying between Melbourne and Sydney.
Unfortunately this dosent guarantee a future presenting gig with the network.
Monday (2.01.17) - Friday (6.01.17): Max Futcher and Katrina Blowers are co-anchoring in Brisbane. Rohan Welsh presented sport and Tony Auden has returned from holidays.
Angie Asimus presenting weather in Sydney again this week and Ryan Phelan presented sport tonight.
I feel like Katrina has worked quite a lot of days straight?
Yes. She had Christmas Eve off but other than that she worked about two weeks straight, I think this will be her third, but she did do weekends before that as well. It is actually good as I think she is improving greatly with this experience.
Eagerly awaiting the ‘Mark Ferguson returns’ promo.
Professionalism and suaveness returns to Seven News Sydney when he does
If this reassures you, Nine News Sydney flogged Seven News with Michael Usher last night. I don’t think E.P will being making the switch to Michael Usher anytime soon, whether you like it or not.
Bill McDonald is working as a reporter for Seven’s coverage of Brisbane International tennis this week.
After Mark Ferguson returns to Seven News Sydney for 2017, I’ll probably be watching Nine News Sydney for most of the next 48 weeks or so!
I get the general impression that a newsreader like Michael Usher or Mel Doyle would probably push for content/editorial changes to be made if they were to be appointed by Seven as Sydney’s main 6pm newsreader.
Do you really think that the current management (formerly of Today Tonight and talkback radio, no less) would want content/editorial changes made to Seven News Sydney? Because I certainly don’t!
I mean, if they’re appointed, they probably would call for changes which would be good for viewers, but like you said, McPherson and his adversaries wouldn’t like that.
I’ll watch Seven News as long as it’s not presented by Mark Ferguson. But looking at Nine News’ directions in 2017, I think Nine News is set to dominate Sydney once again. This is not a prediction, it’s a certainty that Nine News will win in Sydney (and Melbourne) again this year.
@JohnsonTV Amanda Abate is also reporting at the Brisbane Tennis tournament this week.
Chris Reason presenting Wednesday Morning News, most likely like last week he will be reading news Wednesday-Friday.
Early News newsreader Samantha Brett starts her maternity leave from next week.
