The Martin Place newsroom has already lost something like 30 experienced presenters/reporters in recent years (and probably even more behind the scenes), so are Seven News just going to get rid of the remaining six or seven reporters in Sydney that still have any experience and simply rely on cheaper talent?
Don’t forget 7’s CEO knows how it’s done at 10, very well.

Great to see Laurel Irving presenting Melbourne’s afternoon news today.
I think it’s her first time presenting with the network, other than fleetingly at the start of the Sydney siege in 2014.
It’s only been two minutes and she’s already one thousand times better than Jacqui Felgate and Blake Johnson!
