Everyone gets to a point in their lives no matter what industry you work in when it’s time to slow down and it seems Brendan feels the time is now for him.
I agree it’s definitely a big loss for Melbourne newsroom but it had to happen eventually.

Very true Laurel is an asset to the Melbourne newsroom and since her return she has covered all the major stories of the day.
The Melbourne newsroom also has a group of younger reporters who are impressive.
