Seven News Presenters and Reporters (2015-Sept 2020)

I don’t think Laurel liked Mr TV calling her a veteran!:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Anyways l thought Laurel did a great job reading this afternoon’s bulletin, hopefully she gets more opportunities at the news desk.

Agree. She’s a great asset for Seven News Melbourne.

Former Seven News Brisbane reporter Patrick Condren popped up on a report this evening.

And just to prove your point, your post is flagged

I know.

I probably should have said I find his posts odd, over the top. And I’m not a fan :man_shrugging: (Just like Laurel).

That Twitter account is an incoherent embarrassment. It seems obsessed with various personalities and also making lukewarm ‘analysis‘ of the ratings by using emojis.

There was a certain irony today that Mr TV was retweeting various ‘Save AAP’ tweets when he rips news without linking to the original reports and has been known to share pictures of full articles.

You forgot to mention the inclusion of irrelevant hashtags (and in the case of movies, Year, Classification, Repeat if it’s one, Lead Stars, Distributor) during his “Right Now” programming tweets.

Anyway. Back to the point, Laurel is fantastic.

Does anyone have a list of foreign correspondents for 7NEWS? I already know that Laurel and Hugh Whitfeld are based in London, but Laurel travels with the Royals wherever they go, and Hugh focuses on news in Europe that aren’t royal relevant.

I know there are a few correspondents based in Los Angeles or Washington DC or somewhere in the US, but where else does 7NEWS have correspondents in the world?

Laurel is back in Melbourne now as screencap above shows. She was replaced by Sarah Greenhalgh.
As far as I know, Seven only has correspondents in Los Angeles and London.

Would be the first time in a while that Monique has presented a straightforward news bulletin.

Maybe since 2009/10, when she anchored the 4.30 News on Friday’s because Sam Armytage has Weekend Sunrise?
Happy to be corrected.

She presented one not too long ago, when she has filled in as newsreader on Sunrise…
