Similar accusations were levelled at Jill Meagher’s husband. We all know how tragically wrong those were. Highly inappropriate question with the missing woman’s daughter standing beside him.

Haven’t seen him present before, nor did I while he was at Ch 10 (Sports Tonight, etc) for all those years.

@LukeMovieMan Liam is filling in for Ryan Phelan this week on Morning News.Also Adene Cassidy is doing news updates on The Morning Show and The Daily Edition this week while Ryan is away.

Has anyone noticed ‘breaking news’ updates seem come from Broadcast Centre Melbourne over the weekend?

Obviously (except for between maybe mid-afternoon to 7pm) no presenter is available/on standby in Sydney on SAT/SUN?

(e.g.) Nick Etchells presented a few from BCM on a Saturday, regarding the Federal Election.

I suppose it’s easier?

Yes, but probably because the studio in Sydney is used for other things over the weekend rather than a shortage of presenters.

I dunno, maybe I’m a bit cynical but having co-presenters there seemed a bit overkill to me - perhaps the decision had been made before she was found. Good result all round though.
