Jodie Speers presenting Friday Morning News again this week.
Very impressed with Emily Angwin reading updates in Melbourne tonight. Im aware she filled in for Jane (on the weather) a couple of weeks ago, but she is definitely a shinning talent coming out of Seven Melbourne at the moment.
Hopefully we see more of her.
How does Jodie keep getting presenting gigs? Sheâs very average.
Perths rob scott was reporting from the USA tonight about the shootings in Dallas
Has rob moved to us?
Sheâs good enough and using her means that they can leave their senior reporters out in the field where they belong (ie if it wasnât Jodie then it would be Chris Reason or Rob Ovadia).

Only temporarily, covering for Mike Amor while he is in Australia.
Alex Hart has returned to Australia so we will probably see him back reporting in Sydney soon.
I have seen a few and I think she is much better than regular substitute Nick Etchells.
I do agree, but some like her. It is usually Sally Bowreyâs gig on Fridays but I think she is filling in on the 6PM news ATM. @eddel, for me, it doesnât affect me if Chris or Rob presenting (probably only Sydney viewers). But doesnât Reaso end up reading the Arvo news when Jodie Speers does the Morning News anyway?
Rob twittered that he was in us for 1 month while anglea cox is on assignment
Saturday (09.07.16) - Sunday (10.07.16): Max Futcher and Katrina Blowers are presenting the Queensland 6pm News this weekend. Kay McGrath is still on leave and will return next weekend.
Why get 2 people to fill-in on whatâs now going to be a single header bulletin?
The future of Seven News Queensland on weekends, Iâm guessing.
I bet that has never been one before.
Because even with both of them they are not as good as Kay solo.
Probably and I would probably go as far as the future weeknight team.
Nick Etchells presenting in Melbourne this weekend.
Chris Reason presenting Sunday night bulletin in Sydney.
Chris presented last night as well.
I think tonight is quite possibly the first ratings-period Sunday night edition of Seven News Sydney that Mark Ferguson hasnât presented this year, but Iâd have to check on that!
With Paul Burt on the GCâs local bulletin doing the weather, the Brisbane weather roster has been altered to;
Sunday-Thursday- Tony Auden
Friday-Saturday- Paul Burt
I believe it is.
Mark Ferguson is on holidays so Melissa Doyle is presenting in Sydney from tonight.
And we see two Mels on the desk together I think for the first time
Still no sign of perths Rick Ardon done 2 special reports in the last month but no sign of him on the news desk!!!
Heâll probably be back after the WA school holiday period. That was the case last time when he was absent for a while.
I wish theyâd put Blake or someone on the desk with Sue. If for nothing more than to see how it looks
