Angie Asimus and Sally Bowrey are filling in for David Brown on Seven News Sydney this week.
Iām pretty sure they filled in last week too. Infact, I donāt think that David Brown has presented the weather on Seven News Sydney for a few weeks now.
Yep, this is the third or fourth week that he has been off.
Jennifer Keyte presenting in Melbourne tonight.
Mark Fergusonās clone, Nick Etchells is reading in Melbourne this weekend.
Saturday (11.06.16)- Sunday (12.06.16): Kay McGrath flying solo this weekend in Queensland with Rohan Welsh on sport. I am actually glad they didnāt get a fill-in for Rod (unless it was a senior figure).
Jane Bunn returns tonight to present weather in Melbourne.
She was back last week.
Sunday (12.06.16): Robert Ovadia presented the 5pm News in place of Angie Asimus. Who read the weather on Seven News Sydney?
Sally Bowrey, presumably this means that David Brown is taking another week off!
Congrats to 7 perth news reporter Rebecca Marsh and Husband Aussie Test Cricketer Shaun on the Birth of there son Austin Ross
Jodie Speers presented Morning News on Monday & Tuesday and Friday this week.
Nick Etchells presenting in Melbourne again this weekend.

Gold Coast News 7 nights a week from July 4, hosted by Rod Young. After 14 years, next weekend will be Rod and Kayās last bulletin together. Wonder if he will be replaced or Kay will read solo?
Incredibly sad news for Rod/Kay duo. As we have said time after time, QLD best news duos, will depart. I suspect Kay will read solo from this point forward ( considering she has done so when he is away). I am sure this is an attempt to keep Rod āhappyā after demoting him from the weeknight gig, along with given Seven a reasonable candidate against Bruce Paige. I would like to see Bianca Stone on the weekend ( Amanda Abate will probably get the gig).
This is big. I wonder if itās worth it?
Nineās GC bulletin has a very loyal audience and it clear looks like what a member suggested Sevenās bulletin do of going for a younger audience wonāt be happening. If it doesnāt work, I expect that will be it for Rod Young on Seven News
CONFIRMED: Kay McGrath will be the solo anchor on the weekend bulletin.
Here is a GCB article from earlier this week that correctly speculated Rodās position. It also suggests Angela Cox may make an appearance. I think Paul Burt will do the weather and a woman ( surely it has to be Giaan Rooney) will do sport.
Sunday Mail reports that Rod Young will read weekdays solo, with Amanda Abate reading weekends.
Paul Burt and Liz Cantor will share weather duties.
As already confirmed, Kay will read weekends in Brisbane on her own.,
At the end of the news, Rod did say more will be in the Sunday Mail so I expect it to be reliable.
CONFIRMED: Rod Young will do the weeknight news for the Gold Coast new bulletin and Amanda Abate will anchor the weekend edition. Liz Cantor will read the weather Sunday and Monday and Paul Burt reading the weather Tuesday- Saturday.
Apologies if this has already been mentioned but if Iām not mistaken, former Seven News Queensland reporter (and previously at Ten, if Iām not mistaken) Natasha Squarey has recently joined the Seven News Sydney reporting team.
She was with Ten Sydney then moved back to Qld to be closer to family and was based on the Gold Coast for 7. Interesting that she has returned to Sydney especially when as even are now starting a GC bulletin.
