Nick Etchells presented Melbourne’s Afternoon News for the past two weeks while Jacqueline Felgate was on holidays. Jacqueline returned today.

Geez, Melbournians must really miss David Brown. Emily is at least a little more tolerable than Jane Bunn anyway, from what I have seen.

The big question now is what she will return to. Early News possibly? There will also be gaps on Weekend Sunrise with Talitha and Sally both heading off later in the year.
I don’t see her returning to 6pm weather.

Herald Sun suggests today that Seven News Melbourne’s AFL news team could be headed for a shake-up after Nathan Templeton’s departure to Sunrise. When did Nathan join Sunrise on a full-time basis? What changes (if any) should occur for the Melbourne team, which now consists of Tim Watson, Mark Stevens (chief AFL reporter), Sean Sowerby and Jade Robran?

Jane Bunn back from her holiday today her fill in Emily Angwin did a good job for her first time presenting weather.Most likely Emily will be her regular fill in now.
Hopefully Seven were impressed with Emily’s efforts last week and use her for more presenting roles.
Jacqueline Felgate and Nick Etchells are both average newsreaders in my opinion,Emily could be another option for Seven down the track.

Emily also works for AFL club Carlton as matchday reporter so she may be using the role to rehearse her presenting skills.
