That’s the million dollar question. Reason is an excellent reporter but he comes across as cold behind the news desk and when hosting. Seven’s best newsreader walked out the door and they don’t have anyone on their books capable of challenging Overton. The biggest issue however remains the content and that’s been the case for 5 years now.

Last time this happened was probably Kerry Packer’s death in 2005. There were caps of it in on the old media vault

They definitely co-anchored during Black Saturday bushfires in 2009. Peter wasn’t in the studio though, he was on location.

Also today.

Also today

Patrick Condren was MC at a Politics in the Pub event held in Brisbane last night. 4 candidates from electorate of Brisbane. But have not heard much about the event - no social media from Seven. Was some audio on ABC this morning.

Angie Asimus filled in on Sydney weather tonight (from Martin Place as usual, of course), as Fergo and Mel McLaughlin present their segments from Bankstown Sports due to tonight’s “Go West” Awards.

Not sure if this is the right thread. From the satellite feeds – tonight’s BTQ weather forecast with Paul Burt, without the graphics and with him reading from a piece of paper:

Sorry about the bad signal.

are you decoding Optus D2 for those?

The BTQ and WAFL feeds were on Optus D1. The Today Show video was off Optus D2.
