ABC NSW in Parra uses that type of screen much better.
McKnight had no problem spreading misinformation, but when it comes to taking accountability, heâs nowhere to be seen. He can dish it out, but he canât take it.
Can only hope.
100%. Very messy shot.
What are you talking about? When do I spread misinformation and when Iâve gotten something wrong when havenât I taken account.
Your bias against me is making you ignore facts.
You were on âInside Mediaâ spreading fake name, times etc of 10âs new show and said on here you will correct it to @David and you failed to mention it.
On inside media I showed the headlines of everywhere I got that information and at no point claimed it was my own.
On the next episode I went through the official announcement and shared my views on whether I thought it would work.
Lighten up. Nothing is official until itâs official. The fact he was talking about a new show to replace the project was the real, true story.
Thereâs always going to be elements of speculation and rumour until it is confirmed. So I donât understand your issue with it.
100% agree. IMO thereâs been a HUGE overreaction from some here. I suggested Robâs info might have just been provisional and was shot down.
lol. This forum. You just canât win.
No, I just donât see the big deal. So the papers got the name and time wrong. Big deal. They get things wrong all the time. Doesnât stop people here constantly parroting what they write.
I donât think itâs unreasonable to expect a retraction though.
It wasnât just one small detail that was publicly announced. There were quite a few things that were not true that TVBlackbox published as fact and then was repeated on the Inside Media program.
Of course misinformation is spread all the time and people do get things wrong but you also should be able to accept the good with the bad. TVBlackbox get things right 99.9% of the time and we always hear âMcKnight was rightâ. This time he wasnât and itâs just ignored.
I accepted Robâs response to me last week, however, he did say he would address the inaccuracies and he didnât do that.
Gemma signed off from Seven last week.
AndâŚcut!
After 7.7 years exactly itâs time to leave the magnificent @7newsaustralia

How very noble of you.
No Iâm not.
I just donât know why youâre going in for the kill. Thereâs more important things to care so deeply about.
Why are you being so protective over this?
See my response above to your deleted post. Same reason applies.
Because thereâs a duty of care here. If you are going to do such articles and video stories that turned out to be untrue, you have to own it.
They claimed the show was called something it isnât, on a time it isnât and airing only 4 days a week, which it isnât.
A simple, hey, we got it wrong wouldnât go astray is all.
I think you have a misunderstanding of the concept of duty of care.
He has not hurt anyone, he hasnât defamed anyone, his ethics or morals are not in question. He wrote what was evidently a speculative article about planned changes⌠and although some of the details were incorrect, he was on the money re: changes being imminent.
