Are there any WA and SA versions of this?
Judging by the caps @TV.Cynic has posted, it looks like Adelaide has got the same version as Melbourne, except instead of the end card with Jane, Mitch and Bec, there was a local end card with Rosanna and Will, and the V/O “On Adelaide’s 7News” (or something along those lines)
Looks heaps better, less like a black abyss when from lower down and from the RHS.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, however one of the reporters referred to the people at the desk as “Max, Sharyn”
Guess they still can’t get over it
Does the 7 News Brisbane weatherman always avoid getting wet? They look out of touch with him standing high and dry in a suit with slicked-back hair, compared to Nine’s weatherman who is outside braving the elements in a rain jacket.
Guess they (the networks) have different ideas of what viewers want to see, at times irresponsible and frankly ridiculous reporting by standing in floodwaters or in rain events, or measured and factual reporting delivered in the same way that it usually is while letting reporters cover the on the ground stuff.
Good thing viewers can vote with their remotes
And yet we criticise reporters when they stand out in rain, floods and storms?! Can’t have it both ways!
7 afternoon news in Brisbane extended through to 6pm.
Veeeeery long closer for the bulletin +4 minutes. Buletin finished 5:55 and the closer ran up to the 6pm news.
What a terrible structured bulletin (at least in the last 15 mins when people are switching on). It ended with a story from Sunrise on Megan Markle (at 5.54pm) and then ran theme music for three minutes… Not an ideal way to retain an audience IMO. Have weather lead into 6pm or start those crosses to reporters.
oh my thats horrible! Instant switch off
Weren’t people criticising Seven for having Paul Burt doing exactly that the last few cyclones?
Can’t have it both ways.
