I get it’s community serving but really?
Special flood/cyclone coverage in Brisbane from 4.00pm
Seven News in Melbourne will be delayed due to the late finish to the GWS-Collingwood match. Cue the outrage…
Breaking news - riots on the streets of Collingwood because their beloved pies are losing to a team from Sydney, and the news is delayed. Police will be on the scene once the game finishes / s
The Melbourne bulletin started at 6.09pm.
Sam and Max presenting tonight.
Max on location at Wooloowin.
The only time this comes up is when someone makes the post and tries to do this funny quip. Probably done enough now.
Correct and the member that hated the overrun is long gone from here anyway I think.
They are still here, though they’ve seemed to have backed down on this topic.
I agree, despite me making many quips over the past year, tonight is probably the last one. No one has actually complained in over a year now
I know this is off topic but have they only backed down on this topic or have they just not been on here?
They are still on here - they’ve just backed down on it
Seven Melbourne using The Latest template for a live cross to Kane Cornes talking all things AFL tonight (during the sport preview). Looks good!

It does look good here
Hahahahaha good pick ups.
First glimpse at new facility at Seven Melbourne.
Interesting that it uses heavy cues from the Sunrise set. I wonder if there is another studio for news or elements can be hot-swapped for news/sport output.
I wish they’d lose that Live and Free nonsense, now copied by other stations.
They were making a point years ago when feuding with Fox. But now it’s just annoying use of screen real estate.
That is very interesting actually
There is only 1 main studio. But it’s big enough for two set presentation areas. As I said in the other thread, the news set will be adjacent to this set.
But it does give Melbourne the opportunity to broadcast shows like Sunrise from its new studio, minus the soft set.
I think it’s now inevitable that Melbourne will have the same news set as Sydney’s.
