The titlecard on the desk monitor is new?
Sort of. The plasma isn’t but they used that plasma to roll the usual opener (minus the headlines obviously) today. I assume they have adopted Nine’s approach and aren’t going to use the headlines in the daytime bulletins anymore.
It’s a stupid approach if you ask me.
We had headlines for the Afternoon News in Melbourne today.

Morning News’ desk monitor returned to it’s previous screen today.
Was mentioned a while ago. They use these (terrible) supers for social media.
Oh right. Explains the url in the logo too.
Reads like a desperate appeal to advertisers to me. “Unlike the rest of the channel, news still has an audience, they’re ancient but they exist!”
