It still puzzles me on why they debuted the ill fated new Theme back in 2014, only for it to be reversed a mere 5 days later due to the backlash it received.
Why did they feel the need to abandon their 20+ year history of using ‘The Mission’ rendition suddenly to adopt a new Theme with no explanation or fanfare to back it up?
Seven is very weird when it comes to their News Services as they tend to showhorn in new tweaks/element which are often halfbaked as we’ve seen a number of times.

Yes, it was interesting to see the backlash and for TV executive’s to reinstate it ASAP. It’s very iconic to the brand. Terrible decision to remove it.
