They’re really focusing on Sharyn there. She’s really close to the camera.
Pat hasn’t been used in promos since he, Rod and Kay were demoted to weekends even in these team shots, as seen above. I always thought it was strange as, not only is he the longest serving presenter at BTQ, he and Shane equally share the sports role across the week.
And Paul Burt. Neither featured in the last endboard either. Ben Davis does sport again now too.
Yes I know, although Pat was demoted before Kay & Rod were… my question was more just to point out the fact he is missing.
When he said farewell to Kay he said she had been a great ally. One would wonder if that may have been in respect to their respective treatment over the years - although they both seem to be happy now, times were not always so good.
I also wonder about the relationship between Sharyn and Kay. I noticed around her farewell, Kay had a lot of colleagues post social media messages, except Sharyn. Also colleagues such as Marlina Whop and Kendal Gilding were all in the studio for the farewell, but no sign of Sharyn.
Is there anyway to watch a live stream of Seven News Melbourne if your not in Melbourne?
I think all you need to do is change the postcode or location on 7Plus if it gives you the choice.
Somehow, my 7Plus location is set to Brisbane even though I live in Sydney. I personally don’t mind, though.

Apologies if it’s been posted previously and I’ve missed it, but has 7 stopped doing the 4:30pm newsbreak in the afternoon news bulletins?
Fairly certain 7plus uses your IP location so can’t be changed manually.
I think you can also change your location on the 7NEWS website - that’s probably how I got the Brisbane feed instead of the Sydney one.
That being said you can pretty much watch any Seven News metro bulletin regardless of where you live. The same applies at Nine.
You can change your location on the 7NEWS website but its largely vanity. It only changes the presenters that appear in the masthead and the the stories that appear on the main curation.
Wasn’t it mentioned the other week that Melbourne was meant to be receiving a new set this week?

Just below the notice saying cricket is not available on 7plus, it should say: Not your location? Change location.
Was just on the 7NEWS website now and it was set to Sydney, yet my 7plus is set to Brisbane (personally I’ll leave it at that so that I can watch anything on a one-hour delay, though the news is live).
