I remember Great Outdoors moving to Saturdays in the late 2000s, around the time Shelly Craft was defecting to Nine and would end up hosting the top-rating Funniest Home Videos which coincidently went up against the former at that time, Videos itsself experiencing drops by the early 2010s and eventually axed around 2013/2014.

Aaah, the good old times when Seven had a great run of “outdoor type” lifestyle shows in the late 1990s until the early 2000’s. Shows like Room For Improvement, Ground Force, Auction Squad, and The Great Outdoors.
Now, it’s just Better Homes and Gardens. I know times have changes and several genres on tv come and go.

Seven Sydney has continued with rolling news coverage of the Surry Hills fire - so no The Chase (so far).
Light is failing and helicopters are being kept away - so perhaps a late start for The Chase.
Same for Nine - normal programming pre-empted.

I think the Sunday (June 4) schedule for Adelaide is incorrect, the AFL doubleheader will take place on the day before i.e. Saturday.

I think some of the scheduling decisions above are indicative as to how they expect the cricket to rate (perhaps a safe guard just in case too), such as not moving Home and Away (usually 500k metro give or take and low-mid 100k in Sydney and Melbourne) and AFL staying put in Melbourne and even Adelaide (anywhere from high 100k to 400k and up to mid-100k respectively teams dependent).
This strategy was done successfully for last year’s Comm Games and very recently for King Coronation (though back-fired with Melbourne), however is in contrast to their previous Olympics/ Winter Olympics/ Comm Games where everything including AFL in Melbourne (bar News) is rested or moved to 7mate.
Will be interesting to see what Nine do with Ashes (unsure what NRL’s view would be or contract but will get a better idea next year when they have the Olympics - can’t recall what happened in 2012) and Seven again with Womens World Cup.
Seven will be hoping for good weather and competitive innings.

They’ve moved BH&G and cricket takes over from 7:30pm each night, so in Sydney and Brisbane at least, they’re expecting/hoping for decent ratings (I’d guess mid-100k at least in the former) and combined with AFL in other markets, as well as news and m/c, shares should go really high for Seven (but yes save for rain delays/wash out/one sided). It’ll be interesting to see how it goes up against Nine’s NRL in those markets. And how many will tune-in on 7mate in Melbourne for example. 7mate could be in for some 2023 high shares (cricket Melb + Adel + AFL West Coast/Frem Per if that situation occurs on Friday/Sat/Sun).
