“Summer Season” is coming earlier and earlier each year over on Seven by the looks of it.
Highway Patrol repeats followed by Air Crash Investigations is more suited on 7Mate rather than on Seven itself. Surprised they didn’t put 4 repeated episodes of Kath and Kim on Wednesday also, on top of its offerings on Thursdays. lol

I reckon K&K at risk of being pulled or bumped to 7Two as well?
3 episodes is ok, but 4 is ridiculous. I love Kath n Kim but fell asleep during the third.
As good as this show is, I really don’t think it needs to be repeated in a prime time slot on a main channel in 2022. Seven should be producing new shows and putting those in prime time.
They crow about how they have all these great Aussie scripted shows streaming on 7plus but they’re really not looking towards the fiture. What great Aussie shows will they have from 2020s? None. What can they run on their streaming services or sell to other streaming services in the future? Nothing.
Seven and Nine only care about winning the ratings year overall. Seven thinks they’ve already won the year so for the rest of the year they’ll just run slops. No desire to keep providing top notch programming for the whole year. Just resting on their laurels and boasting to advertisers about their win. No vision for the future. That’s why viewers have turned their backs on free to air television in Australia.

In 20 to 30 years, Seven will be remembered by airing recycled reality shows from other channels.
But sadly, no scripted programs to remember- whether its weekly dramas, the odd mini-series or even tv movies, to scripted comedies and sketch shows.

What you’ve outlined is exactly why (and I’ll keep saying it) non-ratings periods should be scrapped. I guarantee that networks wouldn’t become complacent if all 52 weeks of the year mattered.

We are only 2 years into the decade, a decade crippled by a pandemic. Hopefully we can see a turn around.
Have they won the year? Isn’t there still like 2 months left
They’re a couple of weekly wins away.
But 7 won’t win this week or next.
They’ll be hoping their new lineup (AGT, Kitchen Nightmares, This is Your Life) from the week after resonates with viewers.
