Seven Network 2020

Are you poo pooing the show before you’ve seen it or are you always a poo pooer? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Knowing its another food show from seven, its prolly gonna be absoulte garbage
Cause it has the overused manu :disappointed:
And i dont know who this “matt preston” or this “gary meighan” is.

You must be living under a media rock to not know who those two are.

I would watch Plate Of Origin…but only if the judges actually had to try “The Coogee Bay Hotel Special” (Sydneysiders with memories of local news from 2008 will know what I’m referring to) as a dish! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You, as a sydneysider, can you please show me a pic of this “Coogee Bay Hotel Special”?

Only been there once, back in the late 1990s to see Bjorn Again. It was a dump and I never thought of going back. POO would have higher standards than that.

I don’t think there’s any pictures online, but I’m referring to the incident where excrement was apparently served as ice-cream at that hotel.

Of course never in a million years would chefs like Matt Preston, Gary Meighan or Manu Fidel be served something like “The Coogee Bay Hotel Special” on national TV - but it’d sure be funny to see their reactions if they did! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Just guessing but I believe they are they well known judges from Masterchef who have built a high profile worldwide.

 Inventing a new language?

Is there a news article on this? I wanna read up on it.

Here’s a SMH article from 2008: https://www.smh.com.au/national/human-excrement-found-in-free-gelato-20081026-gdt0cj.html

Ok thank you very much

I mean they only hosted/judged one of the biggest TV shows of the modern era for the best part of a decade…

Last year Seven announced a:

" rebranding its 7Flix multi-channel, with very little revealed prior to publishing, other than it would be aimed at a “younger female demographic”.

I wonder if this wills till happen?

So with Big Brother only on for seven weeks and Plate of Origin about the same, does Seven anything for their last quarter? Nine has The Block and 10 have Masked Singer/Junior Masterchef/Family Feud/Bachelor to rely on, what do they have?

Both SAS and Holey Moley are unlikely to resume production for various reasons. Could be a good time for Seven to try some different formats (which is financially viable obviously). Wouldn’t mind seeing something like a local version of Live PD commissioned. They could even consider bringing back All Together Now if they really want to.

I wouldn’t be relying on Family Feud for anything! Lol

It still fills a gap in the schedule which is something we are wondering if 7 have. I really hope 7 commission all together now. It would work perfectly in the current climate.

But I do think they have farmer wants a wife and wife swap. I am sure if things calm down they might be able to finish SAS. And Holey moley could be filmed here if they spent some more money on it.

Bb could run till August. Fwaw until September. Poo in October. Wife swap and some factuals at the end of the ratings year. AGT also will slot in somewhere.

the schedule can be done albeit without as much depth as 7 would have wanted. AFL on Thursdays until late in the year will fill some of the gaps.

I think SAS will be pushed to early 2021 to replace mkr and holey Moley probably not until after the olympics.

Do you think they would air Farmer wants a wife 3/4 nights a week though? And same with Wife Swap? I forgot about AGT as well. To be fair 7 probably have just as much content as the other networks. 9 only have the block and Ninja to take them until the end of ratings.

Any chance that Seven might be able to show some classic dramas (Blue Heelers/All Saints etc) at the end of the year to fill time?
