Seven AFL Coverage

Very true, who knows whay the other angles were like, the stadium would’ve been heaving at that point.

Foxtel game on 7 Brisbane - no score bug shows during ad breaks.

For such an iconic moment, the woman’s head blocking half the shot isn’t ideal. However, it definitely wasn’t as bad as it could have been since the actual goal was still clearly seen in shot.

Didnt I say that?

7 had the correct colour for Port last week with the silver. Tonight when they were wearing their home jumper (majority black) they have gone back to having Teal.

Thought they started using black towards the end of last season after using Teal to begin with.

Don’t know how difficult it is to get the correct jumper colour on the scoreboard when they have had the correct colour before

Hasn’t that always been the case? The ad-break scoreboard watermark only runs during a Seven-produced match.

Brisbane will face Melbourne in this Saturday’s AFLW preliminary final (12.40pm AEDT start) after a 50-point thrashing of Collingwood in today’s qualifying final.

The AFL later announced the AFLW Grand Final on April 9 would start at 12.40pm, with the men’s clash between Sydney and North Melbourne pushed back by around one hour.

I really like how the scorebug looks in the top left corner. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSdFk6p2q/

The Sunday Session. It’s also airing on 7mate at 11.40pm.

Looks Like 7 Perth will have the news at 1/2 time during the coverage of the Derby on Sunday, going by Freeview.

The 3.20pm local / 6.20pm AEDT timeslot was perfect for Sunday afternoon games in Perth, giving Seven a huge lead-in to their 6pm News. It’s a pity Daylight savings is over and the slot has to move an hour later in Perth but required so there is no overlap with the 3.20pm Melbourne game.

I would have thought Seven could have shown the Western Bulldogs v Sydney game on the main channel into Sydney on Thursday night in order to capitalise on the Buddy-mania of the past week.

The corresponding NRL match (Titans v Tigers) is unlikely to draw a huge audience in Sydney.

Also, the details for the 3pm Sunday match in that press release has the wrong teams. It should be St Kilda v Richmond (Marvel Stadium).
Richmond v GWS was played last Sunday.

Melbourne had to play some home games at the SCG over the past two seasons due to COVID restrictions, but thankfully that is no longer the case. This game is at the MCG.
