Let’s not complain. Can only be good news for viewers
Might be on TIL (time in lieu) for the double olympics this past year.
Not to mention he’ll also likely be presenting Commonwealth Games coverage in a few months time.
This probably means he is not a regular/locked into a slot like Jason Bennett.
I’m hoping that Jason Bennett gets other matches in rounds which doesn’t have a Thursday Night.
Has Alister join 7 permanently or just on part time
Basis
Hamish hosted Seven’s horse racing coverage (All-Star Mile and Golden Slipper) yesterday. He will also be part of the presenting team for The Championships at Royal Randwick in early April.
From the tweet response it’s part time. Also their press release stated ‘Alister will also call games for 7 in 2022’ so probably it is part time
Hamish wasn’t part of the coverage yesterday - Jason Richardson presented it.
Yes. The scorebugs are better representing the main colour of the team’s on-field strip this year. Not sure why the numbers for the Lions score are white though? They should be yellow.
Rare Sunday prime time (fully for Brisbane and partially for Perth) game tonignt, with West Coast v Gold Coast. Should see, along with the movies in other markets, 7mate get a large share tonight or at least standout on what’s normally a very low night for multis considering Married completely controls the night’s viewing.
Did Seven Adelaide switch the Crows-Dockers game to 7mate at 6pm on the dot and if so, was there any on-screen warning?
LOL:
The 2022 AFLW grand final will now be held on Saturday April 9.
EDIT: the men’s clash between Sydney and North Melbourne is currently scheduled for 1.45pm AEST on April 9, so it could be bumped to make way for the AFLW decider.
Looks like while 7 has no actual AFL related shows, they have online shows.
Like this one with Alister Nicholson & Cameron Ling
Looking at this tweet he will commentate when needed, so more evidence he is not joining as a regular this season. Hopefully next season
It’s a podcast.
Looks like The Al & Lingy Show replaces the Heater and Daisy Show (Heath Shaw and Dale Thomas) from last year.
Heard Dale Thomas a couple of weeks ago say that he and Heath Shaw will be back on 7 this year.
The Front Bar comes to mind
