Wrong! It is the new studio for 7Melbourne.
Get with the times, no one at Seven calls it HSV anymore, not for around 20 years now since the old South Melbourne building was demolished.
Not sure Jason Richardson, as friendly faced and a pro as he is across multiple sports telecasts, is the right host choice for this show IMO

The news set will be adjacent to this set.
Little disappointing that they’re implementing the same sets style as Sydney. Very boring and the background looks way too washed out for this programs.

I’m an assuming The Washup will becoming from a different location from 6pm. Eventually Seven News will be based there at the same time.

I would say the show might come from the MCG.
This is the downside with Sevens new facility in Melbourne. They now only have 1 main studio. Meaning two live shows can’t be broadcast at the same time. Especially when Melbourne is the networks head of sport.
They just had a new goal animation for GWS. So they may have more than just 1 animation after goals or they didn’t like what they had for GWS before
New set looks much better

The official call sign is still HSV, so it remains correct to refer Seven Melbourne as HSV, even if those who work at Seven don’t call it that anymore.
