The UK’s hugely popular culinary couple John Torode and Lisa Faulkner embark on a journey of a lifetime where the pair travel along the beautiful coast of Western Australia in search of the very best local food and wine. Along the way, they meet chefs, winemakers, food fanatics and entrepreneurs creating incredible produce in new ways, and experience Western Australia’s most beautiful landscapes.

Episode One: John and Lisa Arrive Down Under
After flying over 9000 miles to Perth, chefs John Torode and Lisa Faulkner sample some extremely tasty snapper and meet a cute marsupial before Lisa tries her hand at crafting traditional Chinese dumplings.

The 5-part series premiered on ITV in January last year.

Food Trail South Africa - Season 2

Sunday, 9 February at 7.30pm

Food Trail: South Africa is for aspirational foodies, taking them on an authentic culinary journey through the diverse regions of South Africa to explore the diversity of its regional flavours and its widely heralded cooking culture. Host Warren Mendes puts a new lens on South African culinary travel, to explore some of its renowned regions while also uncovering some of the hidden gems this magnificent country has to offer.

Season Two, Episode One: Kruger Safari
Warren commences his journey in the world-famous Kruger National Park. His first stop is the newly opened and inimitable Kruger Shalati or “Train on the Bridge”, where he shows the incredible structure, indulges in an unforgettable safari, and cooks up a delectable dessert. He then journeys deeper into the bush, visiting the Sabi River Game Reserve to stay at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge and track rhino on foot before appeasing his guide with a moorish South African breakfast dish. And to finish, a young chef will cook Warren South African spring rolls for sundowners.

Cooking Italy

Top Canadian chefs and best friends Rob Rossi and Craig Harding have not only opened highly acclaimed Italian restaurants, including Rossi’s Michelin starred Osteria Giulia and Harding’s newest sensation Bar Prima, they’ve also travelled the world together looking for new ingredients and inspiration. Now they embark on their biggest cooking tour to date, Cooking Italy. Follow Chefs Rob and Craig as they travel to incredible regions of Italy. From the ancient wonders of Sardinia to the seaside delights of Naples, to the beauty of Tuscany and more, the chefs meet local farmers and artisans, experience delicious food made with methods passed down through generations and use fresh local ingredients from the sea and soil to put their own spin on classic Italian dishes.

Season One, Episode One: Cagliari
Rob and Craig’s cooking tour kicks off at Rob’s Michelin starred Osteria Giulia where they meet with Loris, Giulia’s head bartender. The chefs are headed to the Loris’ homeland, the Italian island of Sardinia. The chefs land in Cagliari, an ancient bustling city on the island, arriving in time for a sunset aperitivo before heading to Sabores, a hidden gem serving local natural wines. The next day Craig shops at San Benedetto market, one of Europe’s largest and most iconic food markets. There he meets a legendary seafood purveyor named Odone.

Gino And Fred’s Emission Impossible

Globetrotters Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix are packing their bags for an epic new adventure, but this time they may have bitten off more than they can chew as they attempt to go green. Food and travel are their passion, but they’re beginning to realise that much of what they love – planes, cars and carnivorous delights, comes at a cost to the planet. On this trip, the wannabe green duo try to eat, sleep and travel as sustainably as they can whilst seeking out truly inspirational locations and people. Can they green up their act and become fully petro-flexible modern men, while still enjoying la dolce vita on a rip-roaring food odyssey?

Season One, Episode One: Austria
Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix are in Austria to explore its eco credentials. They start their journey in the Zillertal Alps in Western Austria, surrounded by melting glaciers. It is here that they learn that one of the biggest factors of climate change is the production of meat. Gino and Fred are on a quest to find sustainable meat alternatives. They start with vegetarianism, and end with some innovative culinary options in Capital Vienna.

Rick Stein visits Japan to get a feel for its cuisine before creating a banquet at the invitation of the Japanese Ambassador.

Rick Stein and the Japanese Ambassador had aired on SBS and SBS Food a few times previously.

Tonight’s repeat of Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip at 8.30pm has been replaced by Save with Jamie.

Gary Barlow’s Wine Tour: South Africa

We all know Gary Barlow as an internationally renowned musician, composer and lead singer of the globally iconic Take That. But Gary has another passion…wine. This has grown through the years on the road exploring new places between gigs, immersing himself in the culture, food, and wine. Gary is taking on tour, getting behind the wheel to explore the place where two of his own vintages are produced, South Africa. Gary will also be joined by a cast of great mates to help in his search for the most authentic, accessible, exciting food and drink experiences South Africa has to offer. The series takes in Cape Town, Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franshoek, the Garden Route, Johannesburg and a safari in the Kruger National Park.

Episode One: Gary Barlow with Special Guest Eliot Kennedy
Gary begins his South African adventure, meeting his best friend and fellow musician Eliot Kennedy in Franschhoek. They head straight to the Spier Wine Farm for a crash course in the country’s most celebrated grape varieties, before sampling some classic South African food, cooked on a Braai. After a restorative wine themed spa treatment, the boys head off to try their hand at wine blending before a drive up into the mountains to learn the art of pairing great food with the right tipple.

Chef Jet Tila shares how to make his favourite Asian dishes, from pantry to plate. Learn the tips and tricks to elevate your cooking to the next level!

Episode One: Chinese Takeout
Jet Tila kicks it off with a crispy and sweet orange chicken with a fluffy fried rice. Then, he uses his air fryer to make a dim sum classic that stuffs savoury roasted pork inside a fluffy steamed bun.

Along the way, Dermot farms and forages, visits a state-of-the-art distillery, and with his signature charm and wit shows viewers just how easy it is to prepare signature Irish dishes with a twist.

Episode One: Wexford County
Dermot begins his Irish food tour in a place he knows well, the county of Wexford, known as the breadbasket of Ireland. Here, he tries his hand at strawberry picking, Wexford’s most famous produce, before learning how to make crab linguine in his parent’s favourite restaurant. Dermot then heads to a dairy farm to make farmhouse butter before ending his homecoming with a bucket list moment, playing hurling with his father and the stars of the local hurling team.

Field Trip With Curtis Stone: Hong Kong

Curtis Stone heads to Hong Kong where he discovers the overlapping influences of tradition and a modern food scene that carries a deep respect for the past. Folding dumplings with a master who has been at it for 40 years, exploring jars of ancient ingredients, and facing up to a martial art legend whose most famous student was Bruce Lee, Curtis explores the balance between the old and the new.

Episode One: Masters Of Hong Kong
Curtis Stone meets up with rising star Chef ArChan at a tea-house where they still make dim sum the traditional way. Curtis witnesses how the restaurant’s ‘Sifu’ - a respected master of craft, makes an assorted collection of food to serve downstairs and is then invited to try his hand too, albeit with less success. Next, Curtis explores the floating village and labyrinth of markets that is Tai-O fishing village. Here he happens upon another master of craft, a lady carefully washing duck eggs before drying them in the sun. After a memorable exchange he finds a shrimp paste master and discovers it’s a bit like mixing wine. After learning about how this ancient practice is shrinking amongst the advances of industry, Curtis heads back into the city to visit a master of a very different craft, that of Wing Chun.

Donal shares his love for a real family favourite - pasta! Using simple tips and flavour hacks, Donal shows us four new ways to prepare this baseline ingredient that’s always a hit. There’s his one-pot chicken and mushroom pasta using an ingredient not commonly found in Italian kitchens - soy sauce, a sophisticated white ragu made from sausages and crispy sage leaves, his family-friendly chopping-board pesto pasta, and finally, a spicy update on a classic meatball that uses lots of readily available ingredients and will have you snacking on leftovers all week.

Jason Atherton’s Dubai Dishes - Season 2

Renowned chef Jason Atherton is back for more culinary adventures in Dubai, where he’ll explore the city and its vibrant and ever-evolving food scene. Digging deeper into the rich culture of the city, Jason will be cooking more of his favourite dishes inspired by Dubai—from sumptuous starters to decadent desserts. Jason will be joined by Ranvir Singh who goes in search of the finest food in the city, meeting some of Dubai’s most exceptional chefs.

Episode One: Palm Jumeirah
Jason explores accessible luxury on the Palm, one of the most glamorous areas of the city, where he’ll cook up some surprisingly simple and show-stopping dishes, such as burrata-stuffed tomato and his version of baked Alaska. Ranvir Singh takes a deep dive into the Palm before meeting one of the most highly rated chefs in the world, Himanshu Saini, whose Indian cookery has earned him two Michelin stars.

Nadiya’s American Adventure

Nadiya Hussain travels to America to immerse herself in a wide variety of local food cultures, examining how recent migrants are changing the national menu. On this personal journey, Nadiya gives us a tour through the vibrant hubs of California and New Orleans, cooking as she goes and exploring everything from Cajun crawfish huts and Palestinian bakeries to taco trailers and West African restaurants.

Episode One: Louisiana
Nadiya’s food adventure starts in New Orleans, as she arrives on the first day of Mardi Gras which is celebrated by feasting on one of Nadiya’s favourite things – cake. In a bakery in the colourful Bywater neighbourhood, Nadiya rolls up her sleeves and makes iconic and indulgent king cakes bursting with Chantilly cream, before joining a lively street party. Next, Nadiya visits the Lower 9th Ward, an African American neighbourhood that was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Nadiya then swaps the vibrancy of the city, for the fabled bayous and swamps of Cajun Country which is known for delicious Cajun cooking. Back in New Orleans, Nadiya heads to a charity who use the tradition of marching bands as a unique solution to keep the city’s kids off the streets. She then immerses herself with a Vietnamese family of restaurateurs.

Judi Love’s Culinary Cruise

Saturday, 12 April at 7.30pm (5 Parts)

Judi Love embarks on a food exploration and travel adventure as she visits fabulous locations, meets wonderful locals, and finds out all about their heritage and traditions while taking in their cultures and incredible produce. Judi travels to all these places on a luxury yacht called the Emerald Azzurra - at the end of each day of her voyage, she then cooks up her own dish inspired by the local dishes and produce of each destination in a warm, fun, and ultimately inspirational series.

Season One, Episode One: Kotor
Judi’s first stop on her culinary cruise is Kotor in Montenegro, which is known for its fabulous seafood. Here she gets a tour of the historic town by local resident Dolores, who treats her to a traditional tipple of Roselin that is made with a thousand roses and visits an oyster and mussel farm to help owner Luka aboard his raft as he looks for mussels. Judi also gets to taste the local dish of Buzara before returning to the yacht to make her own dish of mussels in a fennel and white wine sauce.

Chef Paula McIntyre embarks upon a food adventure in America to discover the ingredients and recipes which, thanks to the Scots-Irish, have ended up becoming part of America’s diverse food culture. Buttermilk, kale and moonshine are just some of the Scots-Irish items which are still used by home cooks and chefs in the States today.

Episode One:
Paula meets Rachel Parton George, Dolly Parton’s sister, who cooks catfish for her. Paula also enjoys the best of southern BBQ, visits the rodeo and cooks river trout with grilled green beans, crispy country ham and almond dressing and grilled peaches with bourbon smoked salt sauce on waffles.

Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen - Season 2

Tuesday, 22 April at 8.30pm (10 Parts)

Prue Leith invites you into her Cotswold Kitchen to cook mouth-watering dishes and explore the joys of her Cotswold home and local area. Each week, Prue is joined by guests like Lulu, Kelly Brook, JB Gill, and Ruby Wax to cook, chat, and share laughs. With 60 years of experience, Prue shares clever kitchen hacks and cooks dishes inspired by her favourite recipes and happy memories.

Season Two, Episode One: Lisa Hogan
Prue welcomes Lisa Hogan, a woman who gave up her glamorous London life to join Jeremy Clarkson on his farm. Dedicated to using local produce, Lisa cooks venison and serves it with homemade flatbreads, salsa and burrata while sharing stories of life on the farm - including birthing piglets - and how she developed a range of products for the farm shop.

God this channel is now full of generic filler crap - almost as bad as when it was just showing US Food Network junk.

The problem is there are not enough English-language food shows produced in recent years, so SBS has to resort to endless repeats of Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, as well as old Jamie Oliver and Rick Stein shows from two decades ago, to fill the primetime schedule.
