Cows were awful. The Tigers could’ve beaten them. Scone could’ve beaten them. Scone Under 7s could’ve beaten them.
Cows played well in a few patches, but were ordinary at times too … just outclassed tonight… They are missing Taumalolo heaps, they are a much better team when he plays.
All I know, I tipped the Sharks, but it’s not that big of a win to celebrate. 
Again, Scone Under 7s would’ve won against the Cows.
True, but you can only beat what’s in front of you. And a +38 hit to the for and against is not to be sneezed at and could be important at finals time.
Sharks may have picked up injuries to Nikora and Hamlin-Uele however, that one from a hip drop tackle…. Fingers crossed they’ll be okay.
That was bloody atrocious. I paid $30 to see my tean belted from pillar to post. Would’ve been better value to be kicked in the nuts for funzies.

The Knights were competitive for the first 20 minutes, but I don’t know what happened after that, the floodgates just opened and the Eels ran riot. That’s been their worst performance for a while.
Knights get the bye for Magic round next week, then the Titans at home and then away to the mighty Sharkies! So that’s another big loss coming your way!
For all you know, we may just open a can of whoop-ass on your lot.

A bit like Souths steamrolling the ladder leaders Brisbane 32-6 tonight…. I didn’t think they’d win that easily… Souths were very impressive.
First time since the NRL started the Magic Round concept that one team would miss out. Will the Knights send some players to Brisbane for promotional activities during the week though?

It’s a bye week, let the players recouperate in their own, hopefullu sensible, ways.
Hopefully this will not involve toilet cubicles.

Magic Round is meant to have EVERY team gathering in one city to play matches and promote rugby league. It’s not a good look if one team is not there because it is given the bye.
I’m 50/50 on this… It would be great to have all 17 teams represented in some form for Magic Round, but the Knights will argue that their players should be allowed to get some rest - same as every other team when they get their bye.
And after last nights shocker against the Eels, it looks like the Knights need the week off.
The Knights were given shitty timeslots and they did “research” as to which team to cut from Magic Round when the Dolphins came in.
I’d tell the mob boss that is supposed to be the NRL chairman and his offsider to shove it, you’ve given us the bye, we’ll take it as such. They are entitled to use the bye week to rest, reset and recover in any way they see fit. If the NRL doesn’t like it, tough.

I would like to think that, assuming the Magic Round stays in Brisbane and no 18th/20th teams are added in the future, different teams will get the bye each year, with the possible exception of the Broncos/Dolphins as the ‘host’ teams.
So Knights shouldn’t get a bye in Magic Round again until 2038 
The NRL can’t have it both ways though - it’s a bit unfair to tell a club they can’t participate in Magic Round but then force them to participate in other activities related to the round.
