report it to YouTube
Well your fun at parties then. You post 3 post which would of taken 15 minutes for a 2sec of a youtube clip Seriously. Seriously don’t shoot the messenger
Speaking of Christmas tapes.
I don’t know of these are Christmas tapes as such but these are both from NBN Television
This one is dated 1983
This one 1987
Yes, but do the tapes contain…*gulp*…breasts?!
( . ) ( . ) ![]()
Or nipples… something everybody has.
Grow up, if you don’t like it don’t watch it.
I think one of them does. But probably a case of blink and you miss it
Exactly.
Not an issue, three seconds of a video no one will see.
no one will see it - except the millions of viewers that scroll youtube for old footage made by television station staff
Won’t somebody please think of the children?
Is there really a large audience on YouTube that goes looking for old Christmas tapes? Especially one’s from Australia?
i look for old tv shows that regionals produced to see out of curiosity what the show was about. Some of these shows include:
- Radiant Living (TNQ) - i havent found any videos but i have found write ups
- Living Electrically (MVQ) - same story, no videos but write ups
- Melissa People (SEQ) - Again I havent found videos
- The Morning Show (RTQ) - No videos available
- Thomas And Sarah (TNQ) - No video available
Not confused with … ?
its some morning show that my brother in law was saying about - he grew up in Townsville. He told me thats what it was called it was meant to be a morning show style show (without infomercials). Maybe he confused it with Radiant Living idk. I couldnt even find what you found - so well done, most likely mystery solved on that one for me

The first episode of Tonight Live. Vizard admits to stealing from Letterman at 11:30.
Just a random post about ITQ8 Queensland - between 1990 to 1999, ITQ8 was an affiliate for all 3 metropolitan stations carrying a relay either partially or wholly.
In 1990 prior to the big affiliation switch they were destined to become the Nine affiliation. However, the big affiliation steal with TNQ/ITQ and DDQ/RTQ where the latter stole the Nine affiliation forcing TNQ/ITQ to become the Ten affiliate from end of 1990. Then in early 1999, ITQ with QQQ (QSTV) became the Seven affiliate
As i posted in the On This Day thread. Today marks 20 years since the final episode of my then favourite TV Show Stingers.
Some if the stories i’ve over the years suggest it was some boneheaded executive that wanted to try and make the show more female friendly. This in my view this marked the beginning of the end. It went from cop show to almost soap opera with the police setting just being a backdrop.
As a result rating started to slip. But the sign was there during the final series. The timeslot kept getting pushed back eventually going out at 10:30pm. But also a sign was there was on week where it was pre-empted for a CSI repeat.
Another story i heard was that when production wrapped up.on the final series, the cast and crew still didn’t know if it was going to be renewed or axed that they apparently filmed two different endings to the final episode.
The problem is that network executives try to make shows like that to be the next big thing, thinking that soap opera styled drama works (their logic is most likely the fact that Home And Away and Neighbours being on for almost 37 years and almost 40 years respectively).
Blue Heelers and Water Rats had the similar “changes” to writing styles and rather than keeping it as the original plot, delved into their personal lives - really how many police have all their dirty laundry out for the public to see?
Next time they create a new police drama or similar, the writers of the show should tell the network execs - Keep It Simple Stupid!!
