Based on these new CBS News titlecards, i thought i’d have a play around and make something similar with 10 News branding.
Anyone who’s better at mocking, feel free to have a play around with this Canva link.
(I’ve only done one mock in the past, so naturally this isn’t going to be very good…)
Looks really good and fits the 10 logo that font for news.
What if OneHD & Eleven made it into the modern-10 era. I mocked it up in Canva (and naturally, I suck, so it looks like CADA by the fact that it was made with an oily rag so if you can do it better go for it)

Probably make the line dividing the the 1 a little bit transparent similar to the 10 logo.

No, that’s actually quite nice! I like the idea of headlines moving down with the dots.
The headline supers can move down a bit though - there’s a lot of empty space between it and the 10 News bug, and the contrast may be a bit of a problem when the text is at the edge of the gradient fade. The font on the red Breaking News pill is too thin and not too legible.
Would be good to see them with IRL studio shots etc instead of a green screen!

These don’t look too bad. Would’ve perfectly fitted the bill if their original names had remained into the 2018 relaunch.

I like the idea! Just don’t like the font for the news logo. The typeface is too week for 2025 imo
I was playing around with the typefaces but i eventually gave up and picked a basic one😂
Is this better? I changed the blue gradient to black because i couldn’t get it to an ideal height that wouldn’t make it contrast as much.
I was 100% sure on the supers anyway i just couldn’t think of anything better to design it.

Id almost go with a similar font to what they use now maybe slightly extended, bold and uppercase. Lowercase seems too informal these days
I had a concept in my head for Ace’s new Classic Hits network, comprising of five elements: [name], [frequency], “Classic Hits”, “DAB+” and a ‘disc’, inspired by an old 4IP logo.
In execution I ended up with nine variations of the theme and don’t think I’m 100% happy with any of them but anyway…
i like it, but not sure about the serif font used for the frequency.
It’s actually the same font as used for ‘Classic’ but now you’ve pointed it out it does look disjointed!
With the launch of Seven National News at Noon by Australia’s Seven Network earlier this year, what if Seven News reverted to its old name, Seven National News, after more than three decades?
Such a missed opportunity for ACE to not feature a record in their Classic Hits metro logo - instead, giving Magic1278 a box logo.
