Not really media related, but I’ve been on a bit of a retail nostalgia trip lately and was quite disappointed at the absence of logos out there. So I recreated some as close to their originals as possible.

Wow, those bring back memories! I have a stereo that was bought from Archie Martin VOX in the late 90s, and I still have the box with the shipping sticker on it with the store name.
Seeing Charlie Carters reminds me of Dewson’s, which took over the former in the town I grew up in, and later became an IGA. I vaguely remember the logo had green and red. I think the text was red, with green leaves on one end of it.

Can I ask what the significance of the Vox is?

Vox comes from a radio store called Vox-Adeon that sold radios of that brand, as far as I know. They merged with Archie Martin back in the late 80s/early 90s to become Archie Martin Vox. Then around the turn of the century Harvey Norman bought them.
