Maybe the today logo should be white? The blue looks jarring

Don’t mind the blue personally.
Though looking at it again, while the logo looks better centered between the circle the edges sticking out aren’t balanced each side and it’s throwing it off a bit.
But they had the blue in the past. I’d say incorporated the yellow logo more often. That’s their symbol not white.
Some ideas to tidy up Nine’s new package a little…
And most importantly…for the love of god, bring back a simple, transparent bug:

I just wanted to follow up with the mock I posted two weeks with the feedback onboard.
When I posted it here, I was like wow that was a bit smaller than I envisioned haha. As you said it would be harder to see from far away and especially on smaller screens so I’ve increased the font size on both primary and secondary lines
Made the primary line on graphics all upper caps now 
I just came back to this mock when I saw this absolute stinker of a graphic on 1News a couple days ago

Looks good, I’d just bold the time and much for the font so the white stands out against the red.

I’d move the ‘breaking’ to the left to sit where the ‘news’ is to better align with the super. The background for the cross is a bit busy too. I like that the logo has been flattened though.
