The first one, except don’t extend it the full way.
Then the bottom area next to the logo remains in that dark blue for ticker, time, weather etc when appropriate

Is it just me, or is the two different blues used quite jarring? I don’t think they go together at all.

Had that dotty map not existed and the space for the Nine News bug becomes smaller, a ticker next to it would look fantastic. But it is what it is I suppose from the Nine designers.

Not sure if I like the choice of blue, almost looks like there is one too many colours trying to compete there. What about the same blue as the clock / watermark?
With all the uppercase, the lowercase location straps look a bit jarring but maybe it’s the colour or shadow throwing me off. Also the Today logo on the title card doesn’t look quite centered.

Sure but the blue used is very similar to ABC News / News Breakfast?
All the shows look similar, sadly nothing too unique for breakfast tv colours anymore.
I agree but I would find black orange and white too garish IMO
Yeah I wouldn’t like to see black, just another shade of blue I think - something similar to the corporate Nine colour perhaps.
