Discussion in the AM-FM Conversions thread about the new “XLFM” prompted this, notably the horrible new logo for the station.
Here’s an attempt of mine, using the logo and style from the MyCity Digital stations, which I think would work well, and made the whole set of Capital Forever Classic stations, because may as well.

I strongly encourage them to steal it - given how hideous their current ones are. The fact that the logo I based them off looks good enough to reuse the elements for the mock means it’s not like they couldn’t do it - it seems like an active design choice to keep with the dated visuals.
It doesn’t really look “classic” at the moment, it looks like 2002 “modern” when everyone was trying to copy the Apple Aqua look.
