Starting to dabble in some AI video creation and thought I would start to post my learning progress here, specifically focusing on TV-related mocks. My skills with all the different platforms is definitely a work in progress but I find it all fascinating and challenging.
I’ve started by using Hailuo AI to take a single screenshot of 10 News+ and focus in on the set, and showing an alternative lighting scheme. In this case white. I hope to start creating whole sets for other shows.
Constructive feedback or requests welcome. Be kind

It looks nice compared to the original. But the white panel on the right looks so out of place. I think it would look better if it was a direct copy of the screens on the LHS. and maybe if the desk had more color too it.
On a second note, how scary is AI? It looks so realistic! I’m 100% get scammed in the future…

Yep lots of moral issues involved that has been well discussed. But also a huge creative community getting behind this and using it as valuable workshopping tool. Anyway, my goal was not to discuss that aspect in this thread, just work on my skills managing the different platforms and coming up with new looks and concepts for Mediaspy users to comment on.
Someone in another thread wondered what a more traditional old-school Channel TEN blue and gold scheme would look like. Here’s my last mock for today (my allocated learning time for today has expired!):

I like it too. Kinda harks back to late 1990’s/2000’s Ten News.
Would also make a good GMA reboot set. I might work on that idea in the future.

Here’s my first go at a rebooted GMA video mock.
Starting with an old static mock, I wanted to experiment with some camera panning techniques, showing off the entire 10 Sydney space.
Ignoring the on-air talent (or resemblance thereof), the aim of this project is to show how versatile the set is, complete with a potential ticker at the top (used in previous election coverage, on which the original mock is based on, I believe). Not far removed from the last studio 10 set, I’ve sprinkled it with some old-school Channel 10 glitter (ie. yellow and blue lighting).
I have also hinted at on-air graphics at the start. Lots of layers still to add to this one, I think. I’d also like to make it a little longer in length (storage permitting).
